The disposable animal hygiene pads (absorbent training pads) are designed to collect pets' physiological needs.
They act as a barrier between the animal and the floor, retaining urine and preventing the formation of bad odours.

Multi-layer structure to optimise absorbency, composed of 5 layers:

• skin-friendly layer: made of soft, permeable non-woven fabric that allows liquids to pass through quickly, keeping the animal's paws dry.
• flow-guide layer
• polymeric absorbent layer: a mix of cellulose pulp and super absorbent polymers (SAP) that turns liquid into gel, trapping moisture and odours.
• natural cotton
• soft outer surface: base made of plastic material (polyethylene), completely waterproof, which prevents liquids from wetting the floor.

Instructions for use:

• Open the pad and lay it out without shaking or tearing it.
  The absorbent/padded side (usually white or grey) should face upwards,
  while the waterproof (plasticised) side should be placed in contact with the floor.
• Place the pad in a fixed spot in the home that is easily accessible, quiet and, above all, away from food bowls and the pet's bed.
• Avoid constantly moving the pad. The animal learns to recognise it also by smell; moving it could confuse the animal.
• Once the pad is dirty, fold it onto itself to retain liquids and dispose of it in general waste.
  To contain odours, it is advisable to first seal it in a plastic bag.
